Llangollen Canal Walk

It’s time to put a spring in your step on 6th March with our ever-popular sponsored 10-mile walk along the beautiful Llangollen Canal.

In its 11th year, this circular walk takes in the local scenery and the World Heritage Site of the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct and makes for a fabulous day out for family, friends and colleagues alike.

Join us and walk for the stunning views, the fresh air or to take time to remember a loved one.

If you can’t join us on the canal side, why not Take A Hike at a 10-mile route of your choice?

Every walker will receive a uniquely designed medal and goody bag and the opportunity to raise money for all the Hope House and Tŷ Gobaith families who so desperately need our help, care and support.

There is no minimum sponsorship for this event but we would love people to raise as much as they can for the children we care for.

If you raise over £50 you will be entered into our Prize Draw for £100 of vouchers donated from our sponsors, Net World Sports.

The walk starts at 10am and there will be volunteer marshals along the route.

Open to all ages and dogs (on a lead) are most welcome.

Adult tickets are £10 and child tickets are £5.

The main car park is on Queen St (LL14 3SG) near Cefn Mawr and costs £3 for the day.
